Das Fest richtet sich nach dem Mondkalender und steht in vielen asiatischen Kulturen für Aufbruch, Gemeinschaft und neue Energie. Am 17. Februar 2026 beginnt das Jahr des Feuer-Pferdes – ein Zeichen für Bewegung, Mut & Ausdruck.
Der deutsch-kantonesische Koch Samuel Leung feiert diesen Übergang mit euch im Atelier Culinario mit einem dreigängigen Menü im traditionellen Shared-Plate-Stil. Seine Küche ist geprägt von den Aromen und Rezepten seiner Familie sowie von seinen eigenen Stationen in der Berliner Gastroszene (u. a. Brasserie Manon Nouvelle / The Duc Ngo).
Gegessen wird, wie es zu Chinese New Year gehört: in Gemeinschaft. Gerichte werden geteilt, Geschichten ebenso. Samuel bringt dafür nicht nur seine eigene Handschrift mit, sondern auch Rezepte seiner Großmutter – ein kulinarischer Brückenschlag zwischen Generationen, Kulturen und Orten. After the quiet weeks of winter, this is the moment for a fresh start – and what could mark it more beautifully than Lunar New Year. Guided by the lunar calendar, the festival stands in many Asian cultures for renewal, community, and new energy. On February 17, 2026, the Year of the Fire Horse begins – a symbol of movement, courage, and expression.
German-Cantonese chef Samuel Leung celebrates this transition with you at Atelier Culinario, presenting a three-course menu in the traditional shared-plate style. His cuisine is shaped by the flavors and recipes of his family, as well as by his own journey through Berlin’s food scene (including Brasserie Manon Nouvelle / The Duc Ngo).
The evening follows the spirit of Chinese New Year: eating together. Dishes are shared, and so are stories. Samuel brings not only his own signature to the table, but also recipes from his grandmother – a culinary bridge between generations, cultures, and places. An evening that gently releases winter and opens a space to consciously welcome the new year and the energy of the Fire Horse.
